LET'S HOPE YOU HAVE A PERSONALITY! Unexplainable, dangerous and sometimes even pleasant. Chi is almost everything, anger, pain, happiness, lust and sadness mixed together into one completely deranged mess. A ticking bomb. Chi is bi-polar, over-compulsive, schizophrenic and delusional, her moods change dramatically from another, she has an over compulsive routine to constantly wash her body, convinced she is unclean, she speaks to herself and will often comment on things that aren’t there or don’t even exist- despite this all, Chi is not depressed. The demon can be sometimes pleasant to be around, if however she is not comfortable with what is going on if the room or how someone is speaking to her her mood drops hugely. There are few things that manage to set Chi off into a dangerous rampage, one main one being people stepping on her shadow. Once Chi is in a bad mood, it's very hard to get her out of it- she is uncontrollable violent, murderous and often speaks complete gibberish- her words might be mixed up, she may just scream or even worse- she will be completely silent but bares a wide smile. Chi doesn’t feel much guilt if she does end up hurting anyone or worse, its second nature to her and she'll brush it off her shoulder and walk away, or if she is feeling particularly cruel- even play or mutilate the remains. However Chi isn’t just a murderous twitching shell, she smiles and dances around in circles, sometimes even sings. Catching her in the act she will just explain how she is singing to an crowd of people (that aren’t really there). Despite the little nicks of twitching, scratching her arm till it's red raw and rocking back and forth or side to side, Chi smiles a lot but whether you define it as creepy is in the eye of the beholder. The demoness doesn’t define herself as insane, and when she states her profession as the 'Demon of insanity' the tone of her voice is dismissive, as if it were a joke, but however during her personality change for the worst she speaks very proudly of her role. Despite all her bad flaws Chi has a soft spot for animals, or anything that takes form as an animal. The demoness feels more comfortable around them and is much less likely to dramatically change. Also animals, despite them being more unclean than anyone else (par the homeless) she is more likely to hold, cuddle and touch them than she is anyone else. As for friends and relationships, Chi is not incapable, and not inexperienced, the demoness lacks any drive for sex or other relations, she can still like and love someone but she will have no intimate desires towards them. Though it is near impossible to befriend her without at some point during your friendship not piss her off, most have ended up dead, crippled or have fortunately backed out in time before any harm could be done. Though Chi is not 'hyper' or 'energetic', yes she will smile a lot and sometimes dance but she will not bounce around the room or poke things or be overly annoying. The demoness can act suave but it's suave with ..twitching and her other habits. The demoness manages to live with her 'illnesses' like second nature until she is set off in some way. YOU GOTTA COME FROM SOMEWHERE! Chi was created when the first thoughts of insanity, abnormality crept into the world, she is the manifestation of unclean thoughts, self mutilation, and anything else banned in society for being considered unhealthy, or not to everyone’s standard. The demoness is a collection of each 'illness', each insane thought, and each unhealthy obsession, she harbours a significant area of all of it, however it being her creation it is also the reason for her unstable personality and death of many. Chi has lived with no hatred for humanity like other demons, she particularly hates no one. Fuelled by humanity's insanity the demoness feels no need to hate what gave her creation in the first place and yet she does not necessarily like them either, as for other demons she holds the same view. For centuries Chi has just watched, socializing with herself and the 'companions' that she thinks surround her frequently instead of meddling within the regions of Hisoka like many have decided they would do. When Chi finally decided to join within the human ranks, try and blend in within the crowds she was quickly snatched up and placed into a mental asylum, the demoness did not intervene, she saw this as normal human behaviour and for the short year she stayed within the institute Chi was sectioned, placed in a straight jacket and isolated from all other patients whose insanity only helped her grow strong whilst she rested. The demoness was sometimes let out to eat, or exercise, it was the routine for humans. However that day just before she was placed back into her isolation room something in Chi's mind clicked, like a clock striking noon. The demoness killed the guard and doctor that were ready to chain her back up before loosening the arms of her straight jacket and deciding to play with their bodies, positioning them like dolls, re-enacting scenes. It didn’t take too long before the others came, however Chi didn’t attack, instead she ran and many of the patrols were too frightened to go near her now after the mess that was left in the isolation room. The demoness escaped the institute with ease, though she still frequently wears the untied straight jacket as she has not bothered to find any other clothes. At present time Chi is still being hunted, much like in cartoons, men with syringes do chase her often. Chi frequently now moves around the regions, at the moment she is the South, hoping it to be the last place anyone would look for her but also the one place she'd stand out the most.
