ABOUT HISOKA Hisoka is an island off the coast of Japan. We've separated the island into five parts. The City Center, North, East, West and South, you can read more about them in their board descriptions. ABOUT CLASSES The rich and the poor live here so take it into consideration when you make the character. Not everyone has to be rich or even middle-class. Somebody has to be dirt poor. ABOUT FIGHTS This is super simple. Whoever has the higher stats (attack, defense, magic) under their post count, is more powerful, therefore base your fighting on that, if you do decide to. It isn't about god, demon, what powers they have. It's about the stats. So, yeah. A halfling can defeat a god. But, be reasonable and plot it out with each other if you want the fight to go a different way. Like an injury that could sway the fight, or something like that could even the character's abilities out. Just, talk to each other, okay? ABOUT RACES GODS They are immortal, plain and simple. They have one thing that they are the god of and it should apply to their personality. Like the King of Hisoka is the God of Time. He can 'travel' in time by moving backwards and forwards. He can also stop it. Gods also have what we call 'poofing' power. They hold out their hand flat and can 'poof' anything they want into it. They may seem invincible but the only sure way to hurt them is to reject them. As in saying, "I don't believe in you." Kinda like clapping for Tinkerbell but the reverse. DEMONS These creatures are not immortal. They can be killed in any way that a human can be, except old age. They live a very long time and the majority of them are mischievous but some are super evil. All demons are shape shifters and can feed off of the misery of human beings. For instance, the demoness of fear, inspires worry and gets a shivering sensation when mortals nearby are dreading something. Think of a starving person smelling food from a nearby house. Demons have familiars that mostly do their bidding like humans (witches and warlocks), or other smaller demons (like their own children) or halflings. FAMILIARS A familiar is a servant to a higher power like the two named above. Familiars can be halflings, humans, animals and even inanimate objects because in Japan, everything has a spirit, even the trees. Once a bond is formed between master and servant, the familiar is tied to their master like they're married. Until death, and then they can part. No divorce, kids. And, the god or demon, may take on more than one familiar. But, you can imagine that being the familiar of a god, especially if you don't like them, is especially painful. Seeing as how they're immortal. HALFLING This race is quite special. To be born half of something is usually great but in all actuality, it's kind of a pain. Their human parent, whichever sex, is probably raising the child alone because the demon or god parent wants nothing to do with the child. And to add further burden, the child begins to exhibit powers from an early age and can't control them. Most halflings have powers that correspond to their parent. If the child's magical parent was the god of luck, maybe the kid is good at gambling. God of wisdom, they're the super genius at school. God of fire, the kid's body temperature is like 103 F all the time. Halflings can evolve and grow their powers but that would require their supernatural mother or father to actually do some parenting. HUMANS They really are quite the gift of evolution. You can try to destroy them but they're like cockroaches. A couple may die, but they'll always come back, and probably with an army. With the intermingling and expanding of the genepool, they get stronger and more advanced. They're adaptable and able to change quickly to fit any situation. They have the power of mind and heart. They may not be immortal but if they belief in something strong enough, it can be created or be disassembled. May take longer than 'poofing' but it's far more honest. Humans can become the familiars of demons to gain some sort of gift for the human's benefit. Like a human can become a witch and know magic spells. A human can become the familiar of a god and invoke that god to fight battles for the human. And, humans can also mate with demons or gods to create halflings.
