He’d never held a particular aversion to it but Kyoya was wondering if it was possible to be allergic to the green overload he was experiencing.
His skin felt itchy and dry, investment in moisturizer had not been a recent venture and he was sorely wishing he’d done something because the humidity had summoned swathes of insects that were having an absolute field day with visitors.
Lethargically pulling himself down the trail overgrown with weeds he had no names for, Kyoya perked up slightly as his wandering eyes spied something interesting a ways off from the path he was walking. He gave his surrounding a cursory glance before skipping into the unkempt share of the mountain to discern that the dark spot he’d seen from afar was actually the entrance to some sort of hillside fissure. And there was something snoring inside! He could sense it, the pulse of a living entity beat against his skin like a butterflies wings. Strong and undisturbed, comforted by its aloneness and unaware of the visitor hovering just outside. Having been told to beware of wild animals and not to stray from the path marked for hiking, it felt good to be doing something other than what he’d been told and he all but skipped through the obstructing shrubbery and winded his way up through the trees to better investigate the large niche.
Now he was curious to know what kind of dumb beast was sleeping in the hollow but not enough so to go and poke his head inside and get it snapped off by its residents – albeit the occupant should fear even more how Kyoya would get it to resurface.
Snickering into the palm of his hand, Kyoya quickly went about gathering the needed materials. One couldn’t very well start a brushfire in on the mountain range without the kindling now could they? His search for fire fodder was hardly what one could call a difficult task – he was in the woods for crying out loud! So why in gods name did it take the demon a good twenty minutes of rummaging around in the forest before he returned to the same bear occupied cave with his armfuls of cypress branches? Well, the reason was obvious. Kyoya much preferred hearing the incessant screaming of the tree spirits when he went around ripping perfectly healthy tree branches from their bodies and had taken a good twenty minutes to do that and only that. And boy had it been a hoot! He’d almost forgotten what he’d set off to do he’d been having so much fun.
Squatting down he unloaded his armfuls of kindling, none of which were the healthy limbs he’d been tearing off the thriving woodland because that crap wouldn’t burn long enough to ignite concern. Ha ha, ignite. He was on a roll. The red-eyed fiend giggled – it was the most diabolical sound and in no way girly at all and there’s a shiv waiting for anyone who thinks otherwise.
Now here was where being a demon was ever so convenient. Kyoya didn’t regularly carry a lighter or any other portable fire-starting element, aside from himself of course. Snapping his fingers beside the bundle of dry wood and flammable grasses and viola~ let there be fire! And now that ridiculous paper fan they'd given him at the Onsen as a souvenir proved useful for fanning the smoke into the mouth of the cave.

Its so pitiful what you are ...Just as beautiful as you are... ------------------------- Huddled in the darkest corner of the cave, her illuminating ruby eyes stared intently between the sleeping figure beside her and the brighter light emitting from the opening of the long crevasse of rock. Chi's legs were brought close to her chest, the bare skin of her knee's brushed roughly against the iron chains that still hanged from the collar and back of her straight jacket. The demoness had no desire to take it off, she hadn’t even considered finding any other clothes since escaping, but the jacket seemed to fit her character perfectly.
Chi sharply turned her head towards the sleeping human, his slumber was not quiet- he moaned a lot, and snored like a bear. Each low groan that escaped it's lips made her head eye twitch uncomfortably, so slowly she began to crawl towards the human, dragging her bare legs against the dirt and rock, supporting the majority of her weight with her hands which were fully covered by the long sleeves of the jacket. Reaching his side, her long white hair falling past her shoulder's and it's ends gently stroking his cheek. Chi smiled, throwing her leg over each side of his torso, she sat on his chest before reaching for the heavy rock to the left.
With one swift movement Chi dropped the rock upon the humans head, the blow would have killed him instantly but if that wasn’t enough the demoness picked herself up and stepped on the rock as it still lay on his head. Chi laughed, twirling around almost excitedly as the voices in her head praised her. “Thank you! Thank you!” The demoness bowed three times to the imaginary crowd that continued to applaud her for her. “I’ll be here all week!” She bowed once again.
Kicking the rock from the humans face, Chi was a little disappointed by the sudden silence but none the less she leant forward and took the corpse's hand, wrapping her other around it's waist. “Now lets do it like we practised.” she whispered to the limp body that was regrettably a lot heavier to carry than when he was alive. Finally after finding a comfortable weight for her she began to move around the cave in a rhythmic fashion, twirling and even dipping the body as if you would in the 'tango'.
Everything was going so smoothly, until a laugh was heard, Chi's attention was distracted causing her to drop the body hard on the floor. “W-W-What was that?!?!” the demoness yelled at the corpse, throwing the blame towards it for the awful performance. Chi then sent her foot crashing into it's already unrecognisable face, turning to where the audience once were, they disappeared when the light outside suddenly brightened and a faint smell of smoke filled the air.
Chi made her way towards the light, her footsteps were hurried and the chained began to rattle as they hit the stones and rubble. The brightness of the morning stung her eyes somewhat and the sudden noise of nature was...overpowering to ears that had been so used to the silence. Finally when her ruby eyes finally adjusted they fell upon another demon...with a paper fan.
The demoness wasn’t sure if it was reality or her mind playing trick on her again, so she was silent, she just stared as a half lipped smile crept upon her lips, she leaned forward for a second before standing back up straight. “I don’t remember requesting a wake up call”. Chi spoke whilst she circled him, twirling now and then before stopping dead, her eyes fell blank.
“But if this is room service I wouldn’t mind a a glass of water, room temperature, oh wait no with ice..” It would seem she was being serious but you could never truly know, Chi's sense of humour was ...off, sometimes she could manage to crack a joke here and there, sometimes they were cruel and others...may have seemed like jokes but were indeed serious.
Looking back to the darkness of the cave, her brow furrowed. Her dancing partner had disappointed her, if he hadn’t then she would have been nice enough to get him a beverage too. The frown soon disappeared as she looked towards the other demon, almost forgetting he was there.
Chi's facial expression fell serious, her ruby eyes narrowed towards the fan and fire, “Was I not the prey you were hoping for?” A person would have to be insane to assume the cave harboured the demon of insanity as well as a dancing corpse who was by the way, terrible.
